The ICE Blog has Big News!

warmeric (2)We’re thrilled that Dr. Eric Warm has agreed to join our team as the new Editor-in-Chief of the ICE blog. Dr. Warm is professor of medicine, associate chair for graduate medical education, and internal medicine residency program director at the University of Cincinnati.  The blog will be in great hands.  Eric loves to wrestle with big ideas and is excited to discover solutions to practical problems.

And third, as you may have guessed, I’ve decided to step down as Editor-in-Chief after more than 5 years in the role. The ICE blog was started in 2013 as part of a plan to share resources and start conversations relevant to Clinician Educators around the world.

The ICE blog has experienced significant growth since 2013:

  • We’ve grown from less than 100 followers to more than 7000 in 80 different countries.
  • The blog started with one editor; there is now more than 10 editors from 5 different countries.

A huge thank you to all of our subscribers, contributors, and fellow editors who have helped the blog grow. It has been an absolute pleasure to be part of the conversations.  Thankfully, I still get to hang around in an advisory role.

Please join me in extending a warm welcome to your new Editor-in-Chief, Eric Warm.

– Jonathan
