Eric Warm MD, FACP, is Professor of Medicine, Associate Chair for Graduate Medical Education, and Internal Medicine Residency Program Director at the University of Cincinnati. He and his team apply educational theory within the context of residency training to improve education and care. Guiding questions: how do we know what the learner has learned, and what are the outcomes of this learning on patients, learners, systems, and society?

Jonathan Sherbino, MD MEd FRCPC FAcadMEd DRCPSC (CE)
Dr. Sherbino is the Assistant Dean, Health Professions Education Research, Faculty of Health Sciences, McMaster University. He is a professor in the Department of Medicine, McMaster University. Jonathan is the past chair of the Specialty Committee for Emergency Medicine, Royal College of Physicians & Surgeons of Canada.
Jonathan is a Clinician Educator, co-editing the CanMEDS 2015 Framework and co-hosting the KeyLIME (Key Literature in Medical Education) podcast. He is an award-winning teacher, including the national 2018 Emergency Medicine teacher of the year.
His research focuses on clinical reasoning and diagnostic error.
Jonathan thinks he is a gnarly mountain biker; his kids want him to NEVER use that word again.

Jamiu O. Busari, MB ChB, MD, PhD, MHPE, is a consultant pediatrician and associate professor of medical education at Maastricht University. He is the Head of Department and Program Director of the residency and clerkship programs at the Department of Pediatrics, Zuyderland Medical Center, Netherlands. He is also a Harvard Macy Scholar and a HBS executive education graduate in Managing Health Care Delivery. Jamiu is an executive board member of the Netherlands Association for Medical Education (NVMO) and a recipient of various awards including the Educational Leadership Award 2015 (World Education Congress), Clinician of the Year award 2014-1015 (Maastricht University) and the international Residency Educator Award 2016 (Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada). Jamiu is currently involved in several national and international projects related to medical education and health care delivery. His research interests include investigating, designing and developing strategies to improve physician leadership capabilities in postgraduate medical education. He is the author of the “A day in the life of a CE” series.

Bethany Robertson, DNP, CNM is a high energy transformational leader with extensive background in change management and leading large-scale projects in both healthcare and academic settings. She received her Baccalaureate in Nursing from the University of Virginia, Master of Nursing from the Nell Hodgson Woodruff School of Nursing at Emory University, Doctor of Nursing Practice degree from the Medical College of Georgia and is a Certified Nurse Midwife. She has held many professional roles including staff nurse, midwife, faculty, Senior Nurse Quality Scholar for the VA’s Quality Scholar Fellowship, Chief Nursing Officer, Vice President and Chief Learning Officer for a large integrated health system where she led the organization’s corporate university serving over 20,000 employees. Currently, she is an Associate Professor at the Nell Hodgson Woodruff School of Nursing at Emory University and is serving as the Program Director for an academic-clinical partnership collaborative for an Accelerated Bachelor of Science in Nursing program. She is the Director for Practice Strategies for the Quality and Safety Education for Nursing (QSEN) Institute. Her research and teaching have focused on quality and safety in healthcare, specifically the science of teamwork as a system of work design, used to mitigate error and promote performance by way of enhancing communication and coordination of healthcare professionals.
