Racism and social determinants are substantial contributors to inequities in health care and health education. At the conclusion of the session, participants should be able to:

  1. Describe the role of racism and other social determinants in exacerbating inequities in health and health education
  2. Discuss how an entrustable professional activity (EPA) framework can be used to promote equity and antiracism across the entire continuum of medical education and practice.
  3. Describe next steps for use of an EPA framework that explicitly promotes equity and antiracism as critical professional activities.
